Vergence builds companies from scratch, rather than investing in them after someone else has done the work. The clear flagship bet is Manta Technologies, where Vergence has put most of its time, capital and attention. The ambition there isn't to build yet another SaaS company. It's to build the category leader in autonomous, AI-driven growth, and the target management has set for itself is not a modest one. What defines everything Vergence does is speed and ownership.
